Digital Account Executive

Job Description

In the Digital Account Executive role, we are looking for a bright, articulate, numerate individual with a flair for online and digital advertising.

You will be responsible for the set-up, delivery and reporting on paid digital media and will deliver campaigns through social media, online display, paid search, content marketing networks and more, supporting the senior account handling team to ensure campaigns are executed precisely and you will be given lots of responsibility in this respect.

Although this is a digital marketing role, there may be some instances where you will be asked to support on other campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the account management team across all facets of client campaign work, with a focus on digital marketing
  • Work with the senior account handlers to create highly detailed media plans across multiple digital channels. This includes providing reasoned rationale and performance projections
  • Liaise with media owners and suppliers, building valuable relationships and sourcing new opportunities for clients
  • Develop knowledge of available media channels, specific opportunities and their benefits
  • Produce and prepare regular reports with detailed interpretations to support strategic planning
  • Day to day running of PPC campaigns (Google Adwords, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Write regular, themed content for emails, websites and blogs across a multitude of industries and population as required
  • Setting up email marketing campaigns using Campaign Monitor, MailPoet and MailChimp

Skills & Knowledge

  • WordPress
  • Excellent communication skills in both the written word and verbal communication
  • High degree of competence in Microsoft programmes
  • Google Analytics and Adwords
  • Social media advertising (paid)
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a marketing role

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage multiple projects of all types
  • Take briefs, prepare project costs, plans and time schedules
  • Attend client meetings
  • Brief creative team and present creative work
  • Prepare contact reports and project progress reports
  • Organise and maintain client files, and update job records
  • Provide management team with project status and gross profit information on all projects as requested
  • Stay abreast of client sectors and spot opportunities that provide commercial benefit to clients
  • Explain to clients the full range of services on offer, its key propositions and client list
  • Identify potential opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell products and services and explain them to senior colleagues
  • Be recognised by clients as the key day-to-day contact for the delivery of their projects.
  • Develop ideas directly with clients and colleagues and research opportunities

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
