How does PPC work?

Every time your ad is clicked, sending a visitor to your website, you pay the search engine a fee. (That’s why it’s called “pay per click.”) The best PPC strategies ensure that the fee is trivial because the visit is worth more to your business than what you pay for it. 
Before setting up your PPC campaign we will work with you to understand what you see as a valuable action or an action that qualifies a lead. These actions will then form what we call “conversions”. 
The aim of any PPC campaign is to ensure your cost per conversion (also known as your cost per lead or cost per acquisition), is lower than the value you place on it. For example, if you value a lead at £50 and the average cost per conversion is £25 then you know PPC is providing you with a good return on investment. If the cost is higher than the value of the lead then we will re-look at your strategy, targeting, bid settings and landing page, to reduce this cost. 

CI Case Study:

We were asked by an existing client in the leisure industry to take over their Google Adwords account with the aim of increasing their holiday home bookings and reducing the cost per acquisition.

At take-over the average cost per acquisition was £62.52 and PPC was generating 7 leads per month. Within 2 months into the new PPC campaign, Creative Insight had generated 92 leads at an average cost per click of £7.62 and we were managing to do so on a reduced budget of £90 per month.
